Hikari Takadaki is a student returning home late and ends up boarding a half-empty local train, with a single car and barely functioning interior lights. On board, there is only one other passenger: Jun Umadate, a man whose appearance arouses suspicion from the first second. As the journey progresses, the tension grows. No one else is there. No one is watching. No one is listening. The atmosphere grows increasingly heavy for Hikari, who doesn't know if she will be able to get off the train with her soul intact.
